Carla Morris pours water from a cooler into a patch of wild flowers on the side of the road in Potomac, Maryland, on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. She is an avid gardener and had concern for the wildflowers along the road in her neighborhood and decided to water them with the melted ice from a cooler she had for her son's soccer practice. A native of Ripon, Wisconsin, Morris moved to Potomac about 7 years ago. Maryland's 6th District was redistricted in 2011, combining rural northern Maryland regions with more affluent communities like Potomac and Germantown.
